Owned exclusively by Ten Four USA, Inc. with no partners. The existing facility consists of a saloon and complete restaurant located on approximately 3½ acres of land in the city of Elko, Nevada. The building size is approximately 14,000 square feet, and the city has permitted an additional 24,000 square feet to be added to the building. Its existing seating capacity is 700, with an additional 66 restaurant seats. The building complies with all city codes and ordinances. It is adjacent to Interstate 80, approximately one mile east of town
It previously held an unrestricted license with slot machines, live gaming, including poker and roulette. According to previous route operator, it was generating over $100,000 a week on the slots alone. This does not include the bar, restaurant or additional revenue. There are currently no gaming machines on the premises; a previous owner lost its gaming license due to IRS complications, and all machines were removed. Although the casino is not currently open, it is still grandfathered in as a casino, and can be reopened with an unrestricted license.
The Silver Dollar Saloon holds a topless Gentlemen’s Club license. The city of Elko has granted permission for a separate building in which a topless Gentlemens Club may be constructed. The topless license is still intact and can be reopened in the existing building until the unrestricted gaming license is issued. (Both entities must be in separate buildings; topless and gaming are not allowed on the same premises, unless previously grandfathered.) The topless bar can be built and sold off to an outside entity. The city of Elko has granted permission to open the casino and gaming with an unrestricted license. The Nevada Gaming Commission will allow gaming with a qualified licensee. It takes a new licensee approximately 8 months to qualify, but an existing route operator may open in approximately 3 months. The city of Elko is also receptive to owner constructing a hotel on premises and current owner is working with a local architect to develop the plans.
The Silver Dollar restaurant is fully open and operating with a seating capacity of 66. The seating area is uniquely decorated in a western motif, and specialized in country western barbequed foods and homestyle cooking. All kitchen equipment is new and in good working condition.
The Silver Dollar Saloon boasts the biggest dance floor in Elko County, with a 25’x25’ wooden dance floor surrounded by a log fence décor. Interior walls are cedar boards, and it was a local custom to emboss the pool table area with local ranchers branding irons. It has a front bar area, and a smaller “hops and shots” bar located at the rear. The two back interior walls were custom painted by a local artist in the early 80’s in a western motif.
